Commissions

Tamsin Dearing Sita Coloured Pencil Portrait Copyright 2016Capture that perfect moment for years to come, with an original piece of art.

Portraits are drawn from your photographs, on the highest quality acid-free cotton paper to ensure a perfect finish. Either digital or original photographs can be used, if originals are supplied these will be returned with the final artwork. It is essential that the photographs are clear, in focus and show a high level of detail for an accurate portrait to be drawn.

Commissions are completed on average within three weeks, though exact time-scales depend on current workload. Your completion date will be agreed upon the confirmation of the commission. All portraits are supplied unmounted.

Portraits can be drawn from either a single photograph, or a composition can be created from separate images as desired. When a portrait has been commissioned, photographs of the drawing as it progresses are sent to the client. These ensure that both parties are confident that the portrait is what they want it to be, and provides an interesting insight into how a drawing is created.

The prices stated are for a head and shoulders portrait, featuring up to three subjects.

Prints and greetings cards can be produced of the artwork, so you can share with your family and friends.

"Georgie was absolutely thrilled to bits with the picture – she burst into tears – of joy – obviously!
It looks fantastic on her sitting room wall as I knew it would!"
